What is the difference between Danish & Puff?
The light texture of puff pastry is partly attributed to the use of steam to get it to rise. Danish however, is a heavier pastry, partly because it contains yeast. Danish too is light and flaky but it has a fluffier, more buttery texture but it requires proofing before baking in order for it too rise.
What is proofing and how to do it?
Will my Danish dough start to proof on the way home?
Yes, It may start to proof on your way home as Danish proofs in room temperature after it has thawed. We recommend that you ask for Dry Ice upon your purchase of any Danish dough products.
Is egg wash done before or after baking?
Egg wash should be done before baking to have that final golden finish.
Can we eat your Ready To Eat products directly without heating?
Yes, you may eat our Ready To Eat (RTE) products directly after it has thawed.
